
WAG Level 2 Coach
Are you an experienced gymnastics coach ready to take the next step in your coaching journey? We are seeking a Level 2 Gymnastics Coach (WAG or GFA) to join our passionate and supportive team!

Responsibilities: ​​

Plan and lead skill-focused, progressive sessions across all apparatus

Deliver a high standard of coaching to gymnasts of a variety of ages and abilities, encouraging all gymnasts to reach their potential

Ensure a safe, engaging and positive environment throughout all training sessions

Effectively communicate with gymnasts, parents and staff by providing both positive, constructive feedback and relevant information; supporting gymnasts' physical and emotional wellbeing

Support and mentor Level 1 coaches by offering guidance and feedback o session delivery

Assist with the setting up and tidying away of equipment at the beginning and end of the session

Follow and adhere to all of the LCGC and British Gymnastics policies

Skills
-
Experience in gymnastics coaching, along with a passion for gymnastics

A strong understanding of skill progression and safety
-
Confidence to support Level 2 skills

Work effectively as part of a team

Effective communication with gymnasts, parents and staff

Lead sessions with organisation and group management skills
-
Positive, professional attitude and a passion for helping others succeed
Job type:

Part-time (4 - 16 hours a week)

Full-time (20-32 hours a week)

Requirements:

DBS
-
British Gymnastics Level 2 Coaching Qualification - WAG or GFA discipline
​
Preferred but not:

British Gymnastics Safeguarding Certificate

First Aid Certificate
