When will a space become available for my child?If your child is on our waiting list, our Waiting List Coordinator will be in touch via email as soon as a space becomes available. Please check your junk email to ensure you do not miss our email.

What does my child wear for training?For the first month, we allow gymnasts to wear shorts and a t-shirt, however please avoid any baggy clothing for safety purposes. After this time, gymnasts are required to wear leotard for all training sessions. Leotards do not have to be bought from us, any leotard is fine. Please ensure all long hair is tied up neatly safety purposes.

What do I do when I arrive for my first session?Come through the front door and gymnasts can put their belongings in one of the cubes. Parents and gymnasts can then wait in the viewing area and a coach will welcome you.

What do I do if my child cannot make a session?If you are aware that you cannot attend a session in the future E.G. you are going on holiday, please let your coach know as soon as possible and they will record this on the register. If you have last minute plans or sickness and are unable to make the session, you can let your coaches know via our closed Facebook page.

What do I do if we want to leave the club?We would be very sad to see you go, however if you are sure you want to leave the club please email LCGC-1@outlook.com to give your three weeks notice. This notice period will begin from the date you send the email. Non-attendance of classes by the member or cancellation of direct debit does not give us your notice. You must provide us with a cancellation email otherwise you will remain liable for unpaid monthly fees. To see our full cancellation policy, please visit our Payment Policy in the Policies section.

Is there a limit on spectators?Unfortunately due to limited space, we limit spectators to two adults per person. Siblings are welcome, however we ask that they sit on parent's knees.

When will my child compete?Our Club Competitions run over a weekend with Squad gymnasts competing on Saturday and Recreational gymnasts competing on Sunday. After the closing date, all entries will be put in to a programme. As soon as this is done, you will be informed of timings. Our Display Team will perform several times throughout the weekend, showcasing their skills too.

How do I enter my child for the Club Competition?Every member will receive an email with the Club Competition information on. To enter, you are required to fill in the relevant form (attached to the email) and pay a fee of £20. This fee covers your entry and a competition t-shirt. Entry forms and payment must be complete by the date shown on the letter. Unfortunately, we can not accept any entries after this date.

Is there a charge for spectators?Yes, we charge all spectators £3 entry. Siblings under age 10 come free. We also sell raffle tickets and have our Club Pop-Up Shop to purchase merchandise throughout the competition. Refreshments are also available to purchase too.

What will my child need to learn?All gymnasts will be taught set routines for the Club Competition. We will also share videos of the routines on our closed Facebook page for gymnasts to practise at home. Please speak to your gymnast's coach if you have any questions about the routines.

Who can compete in LCGC Club Competitions?All of our members, except for those attending Pre-School classes can enter our club competitions. We would love to see as many members take part in our fantastic, fun-filled event.

How do the age groups work?Gymnasts are organised in to age groups where children are grouped on their birth year (January to December), for example if your child's date of birth is 16/10/2014, they will be in the Age 11 Category even though they are only 10 on the competition day. Unfortunately, some age groups may be bigger than others depending on how many gymnasts enter the competition.

Can we take photos during the competition?Yes, you are able to photograph and video your own child. Please ensure your flash is off as this can be very distracting for the gymnasts. We also ask you not to post or share your photos and videos you on social media if there are other gymnasts in the background. Not all of our gymnasts have given consent to have their images published on social media, so please be mindful of this.

What do gymnasts wear?To compete, we ask for all gymnasts to wear one of our club leotards. These can be bought from our club shop. We also ask for long hair to be tied back neatly and safely.

How long does it take for stock to arrive?We wait for at least six orders before sending off the order forms so please be mindful that your items may take several weeks to arrive. Please speak to a coach to track your order. Currently, we do tracksuit orders twice a year - February and September. Keep a look out on our social media pages for our next order.

What do you sell?We have a range of leotards for Recreational and Squad gymnasts, personalised hoodies, backpacks, tracksuits, scrunchies. We also sell bar grips, sweatbands and other bar accessories. We hold some of our items in stock, however some need to be ordered via an order form.

How do I order items from the Club Shop?We take orders for leotards and personalised hoodies. You can speak to a coach in the gym and fill in one of our order forms to make your purchase. Exciting news! Very soon our Club Shop will be live on our Parent Portal for you to make all of your purchases there. We will inform you when this is available!
